Q & A with Santa Barbara Artist Ruth Ellen Hoag

santa_barbara_workshopAs an international art educator, I often spend more than 75% of the year on the road and across 7 or 8 countries. Being welcomed as family and looked after means a lot when you are living out of a suitcase so much. Earlier this year, my Creativity/Mixed media workshop was hosted at Whistle Stop Art Studio in lovely Santa Barbara, California. In addition to sharing my birthday with a lovely group of students during my workshop, I had a chance for a brief Q & A with professional artist and Whistle Stop’s gracious proprietress, Ruth Ellen Hoag. Listen here for her inspiring and informative responses~ you might find they are helpful for your own creative journey!
